Chateau Vartely - Orhei

Château Vartely is a hidden gem! The wine tasting led by sommelier Olga was like a masterclass in flavors. We scored a free bottle on arrival. The dinner was great, with a menu that resonated with local culinary vibes. Walking the fine grounds just added to the charm!

The check-in was a buzzkill-our reservation for a double room turned into a bug-riddled attic experience. After some hassle over bed sheets, we met a staff member who seemed more upset than helpful, which put a shadow over our bright getaway.

They had everything we wanted for our vacation, we appreciated rooms and the food. Lacul Orhei was just 1 mile away.

Nothing it was perfect.

Château Vartely impressed with its fine scenery and good wine selection. The winery tour was a highlight, offering excellent insight into the wine-making process. The room featured a super comfortable bed and a nice shower. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent. The food complemented the wine perfectly. Accessing the winery requires a car, which might be inconvenient for some. It's also worth noting the restaurant is closed on Mondays, limiting dining options.

The food served at the restaurant offered good flavors, mouthwatering. The room was clean. Participating in the winery tour added a unique experience to our visit, great to keep some lovely bottles of wine. A previous guest mentioned the friendly staff and left a lasting impression .

The kids loved the picturesque grounds and the serene atmosphere was perfect for our family getaway. The wine tasting was a good experience, and the owner even gifted us a bottle of wine, a lovely personal touch!

The Double Room was cozy with air conditioning and a terrace. Enjoyed the minibar and hairdryer. The wine tour was a highlight, amazing wines and Arina was awesome! Restaurant served delicious vegetarian food. Spa facilities were nice to take a break after a long day. Totally recommend the free water and toiletries too!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location near the winery was perfect for us, as we were able to easily visit and enjoy wine tastings. The service and housekeeping were top-notch, ensuring that our room was always clean and tidy. We also appreciated the room amenities, such as the heating and air conditioning, which kept us comfortable throughout our stay. The mini-bar and tea and coffee facilities were a nice touch, allowing us to relax and enjoy a drink in our own private sitting area or on the terrace. The free wi-fi in the rooms was also a great convenience.

We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends. It serves as a great base for exploring the area and checking out the nearby city.

On our recent city break, we stayed at a beautiful countryside retreat. the scenery was breathtaking and we enjoyed walking through the fields and orchards nearby. the rooms were cozy and comfortable, and we had everything we needed. We took advantage of the wine tasting experience and loved learning about the process. the breakfast was amazing and we particularly enjoyed trying the local specialties and the homemade pastries.

We enjoyed exploring the nearby area, taking in the natural surroundings and immersing ourselves in the local culture. the rooms were beautifully appointed, with comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms that left us feeling pampered and refreshed. Breakfast was delicious, with a great selection of fresh, local produce to choose from. the staff were exceptional, providing us with excellent service and attention to detail.

Cleanliness was great, hotel facilities were excellent and parking was convenient. The location near the winery couldn't have been better, and breakfast was delicious.

Our weekend getaway was simply amazing! The rooms were spotless and cozy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the quality of the food, the wine tour, and the wine tasting. Not to mention the peaceful and serene atmosphere that surrounded us at all times. The tours on the property were just what we needed to be entertained, and we learned some new things too. We were also thrilled with the stunning landscapes and quiet surroundings that made our stay relaxing and enjoyable.

There were a few minor issues that detracted a bit from the experience. Unfortunately, there was no hairdryer in the bathroom.
